New leptin receptor mutations found in mice

New leptin receptor mutations, LeprDb-rtnd, LeprDb-dmpg, and LeprDb-rlpy, have been found in mice.

According to recent research published in the Journal of Nutrition, "Three new spontaneous recessive mouse mutations in the leptin receptor gene (Lepr), Leprdb-rtnd, Leprdb-dmpg, and Leprdb-ripy, originated in the CBA/J (CBA), B10.D2-H8b(57N)/Sn (B10) and NU/J strains, respectively."
