Manhattan Pharmaceuticals announces preclinical data on oleoyl-estrone

Manhattan Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (MHTP) announced the successful presentation of further preclinical data relating to its lead compound, oleoyl-estrone, an orally administered compound for the treatment of obesity.

At the recent European Congress on Obesity in Helsinki, Dr. Maria Alemany, a member of Manhattan's scientific advisory board and professor of biochemistry, molecular biology, nutrition, and food science at the University of Barcelona, presented the results of a single oral gavage with oleoyl-estrone, in normal weight Wistar rats.
