Respiratory muscle strength poor in obese patients

Respiratory muscle strength is poor in obese patients, and these patients benefit from a program designed to strengthen the respiratory muscles.

According to recent research published in the journal Endocrinologist, "Obesity is a progressively increasing health problem worldwide. This study was planned to investigate the pulmonary function tests, respiratory muscle strength, and endurance of subjects suffering from obesity, and the effect of different categories of obesity on these parameters."
