Corporate diabetes management programs decrease chronic care costs by 60%

More than 300 million people worldwide are at risk of developing diabetes, according to a new report released at the International Diabetes Federation conference in France, and a healthcare expert from Aon Corporation, a holding company, says published studies indicate that companies that implement diabetes disease management programs see a 60% decrease in chronic care costs of diabetics after 1 year.
