Pharmaceutical company extends public-private partnership with Florida

Under the new agreement, Pfizer has guaranteed to deliver savings and program investments of $45 million to the State of Florida from July 2003 through September 2005, which adds to the initial term guaranty of $33 million. Through a network of community hospitals, one remote call center, and a team of nearly 100 individuals, Pfizer and Florida will continue to deliver health improvement interventions to Medicaid patients suffering from asthma, hypertension, heart failure, and diabetes and a range of related conditions.
