Kaiser, HealthMedia to study effectiveness of tailored online weight management

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has given nearly $500,000 to fund a project by Kaiser Permanente's Care Management Institute (KP-CMI) and HealthMedia, Inc., that studies the effectiveness of a "tailored" online weight-management program.

HealthMedia, Inc., a behavioral-science-technology company, was awarded the $496,264 grant from RWJF's Health e-Technologies Initiative, a national program for the advancement of interactive technologies to improve health behavior and disease management.
