Results announced for continuous glucose monitor home-use trial

The home-use trial involved 102 subjects at seven clinical sites. Sixty percent of the subjects had type 1 diabetes and 40% had type 2 diabetes. The age of the subjects ranged from 13 to 71 years with an average age of 46 years. The subjects alternated the insertion site for the 3-day disposable sensor between the arm and abdomen over a 21-day period.
