Sensory impairments from peripheral neuropathy improve in Anodyne study

Anodyne Therapy, LLC, announced the publication of a third peer-reviewed clinical study demonstrating restoration of sensation in the feet of patients with peripheral neuropathy.

This study, conducted at the Endocrine Metabolic Center by J. Joseph Prendergast, MD, in Redwood City, California, appears in the January/February 2004 issue of Endocrine Practice.

The study shows that 26 of 27 patients showed improved nerve function using a quantitative testing device called the Neurometer CPT. Additionally, more than 59% of the patients in the study, all of whom exhibited abnormal nerve function prior to receiving treatment, obtained normal sensory...
