People watching carbohydrates may not get enough essential nutrients

Bayer HealthCare's Consumer Care Division introduces One-A-Day CarbSmart, one of the first complete multivitamins specially formulated to provide key nutrients low-carb followers may not be getting enough of, including B vitamins found in enriched grains like bread and pasta, vitamins C, E and beta-carotene, which are antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables, and potassium and calcium found in yogurt and milk.

Nearly 32% of U.S. adults are watching their carbohydrates, which means they may not be getting enough of these key nutrients. Studies have shown that, even without restricting carbohydrates, 70-80% of Americans don't get the recommended five servings of fruits...
