Oxidative stress in hypertensive rat livers decreases after diabetes

Decreased oxidative stress in prehepatic portal hypertensive rat livers occurred following the induction of diabetes. "Oxidative stress (OS) is a biological entity indicated as being responsible for several pathologies, including diabetes. Diabetes can also be associated with human cirrhosis. Portal hypertension (PH), a major syndrome in cirrhosis, produces hyperdynamic splanchnic circulation and hyperaemia.
