Detailed genetic mapping reveals complexity of obesity trait locus

The genetic complexity of an obesity quantitative trait locus (Fob3) was revealed by detailed genetic mapping.

According to recent research from Scotland, "Obesity is proving to be a serious health concern in the developed world as well as an unwanted component of growth in livestock production.
