Pharmaceutical company sponsors walk/jog-a-thon to benefit diabetes education

Diabetes educators from across the country participated in the 23rd Annual Walk/Jog-a-Thon of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE).

Annual sponsor of the race, Novo Nordisk, a world leader in diabetes care, presented an educational grant to the AADE Education and Research Foundation at the conclusion of the race.

The Walk/Jog-a-Thon began at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown and wound through the downtown area. The 5K Walk/Jog-a-Thon is a 23-year tradition for diabetes educators, were in Indianapolis for the 31st Annual Meeting of the AADE.
