Israeli Ministry of Health approves distribution of Animas IR 1200 Insulin Pump

Animas Corporation (PUMP) announced that the Israeli Ministry of Health (MOH) has approved the distribution of the Animas IR 1200 insulin pump in Israel. The IR 1200 pump received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in November 2003 and has been available in the U.S. since April 2004. The IR 1200 is scheduled to launch in Israel in September 2004 and will be distributed by Tritech Biomed, Ltd, Animas' exclusive distributor in Israel. The IR 1200 is the smallest full feature pump on the market today, offering a large viewing screen, long battery life, precise insulin delivery, enhanced waterproof integrity and ease-of-use. ...
