Proteomics company announces research agreement with Baylor College of Medicine

Power3 Medical Products, Inc., (OTCBB: PWRM) announced that it has entered into a research agreement with Baylor College of Medicine for the purpose of discovering biomarkers in serum and plasma that are of particular utility in the diagnosis and drug targeting for metabolic syndrome and associated disorders including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and stroke.

The research covered under the agreement is the result of collaboration between Christie M. Ballantyne, MD, director of the Center for Cardiovascular Disease, Baylor College of Medicine and Ira L Goldknopf, PhD, chief scientific officer and head of the Scientific Team at Power3 Medical.
