ACE inhibitor/diuretic combination protects obese rat kidneys

An angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor/diuretic combination protected obese Zucker rat kidneys from fibrosis and renal failure. According to published research from France and Canada, "Some combinations of antihypertensive agents were shown to reduce proteinuria in patients with renal failure.
