Pennsylvania diabetes report reinforces need for healthy lifestyles

A new report from the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) reinforced the need for Pennsylvanians to lead healthy lifestyles that include healthy diets and preventive care. That is how the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) responded PHC4's "Diabetes Hospitalization Report," which shows the impact of diabetes on hospitalization rates and hospital charges.
