Businesses team up to combat diabetic neuropathy

VeridianHealth and Anodyne Therapy, LLC, have launched a cooperative program focused on improving healthcare for patients suffering from diabetic neuropathy.

Each company is informing the other's physician and physical therapist clients about the value of combining both companies' services and products to facilitate early diagnosis and effective treatment of the disease.

About 60 to 70% of people with diabetes have mild to severe forms of nervous system damage (neuropathy) that can cause pain in the legs and feet, loss of sensation, and serious complications such as foot ulcers and infection. Approximately 82,000 diabetic persons in the United States...
