Researchers call for new techniques for evaluating SI during puberty

Analysis has revealed surrogate indexes are not accurate predictors of insulin resistance during puberty, and researchers suggest new techniques are needed to measure insulin resistance in children.

According to recent research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, "This study evaluated the accuracy of surrogate indexes of insulin sensitivity (SI) in children.
