Biotechnology company reports first quarter financial results

The company reported a net loss of $2,000,243, or $0.05 per share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2005, compared with a net loss of $1,234,638, or $0.04 per share, for the same period in 2004. Weighted-average common shares outstanding for the quarters ended March 31, 2005, and March 31, 2004, were 39.7 million and 31.6 million, respectively.
