Antioxidant biomarker company released oxidative stress survey

OXIS International, Inc., (OXIS.OB, OXIS) released preliminary results from its international survey among leading researchers involved in the study of oxidative stress.

The preliminary results, which were published by OXIS, reveal an opinion among researchers that oxidative stress is the cause, as well as a symptom, of many disease states. The survey, covering a broad spectrum of researchers in academic and medical institutions as well as private companies and government organizations, showed that many researchers - two-thirds of those responding - had been involved in oxidative research for 5 years or more.
