Survey shows adults seek comfort food after arguments with partner

Over 11 million adults in Great Britain have issues or problems with food, according to new research from the Priory Group, which specializes in treating patients with eating disorders.

The Priory Group's new survey, conducted by NOP (U.K. National Opinion Poll), also shows that over 10 million adults comfort eat after an argument or when they are not getting on well with their partners.

The nation's increasingly uneasy, unhealthy relationship with food is borne out by the fact that 63% of all adults say that if they feel overweight or out of shape it adversely affects how attractive they feel and therefore their self-esteem, yet 52% head for...
