Nutrition technology company finds new soft chewable tablet reduces food intake by 20%

PacificHealth Laboratories, Inc. (PHLI) announced that a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of appetite suppressant technology, a soft chewable tablet, demonstrated a 20% reduction in caloric intake in overweight individuals. Dr. Robert Portman, CEO of PHLI, said, "Results from this latest clinical study provide additional evidence on the effectiveness of our improved formulation. The study, which was funded by PHLI, was conducted with 20 overweight subjects with an average body mass index (BMI) of 28."
