According to recent research published in the journal Nutrition Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases, "The aim of this trial was to evaluate the effect of doxazosin as add-on therapy in patients with hypertension not adequately controlled on current anti hypertensive therapy, and impaired glucose metabolism.
