Researchers from the United States and Germany report details of new studies and findings in the area of diabetes

Diabetes data are the focus of recent research from the United States and Germany.

Study 1: Neurological complications of prediabetes needs to be more thoroughly explored.

"Stroke and peripheral neuropathy are recognized neurological complications of diabetes. Increasing epidemiological evidence also implicates the prediabetic state of impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) as a risk factor for cerebrovascular events and peripheral neuropathy," a review in the United States reports.
