Scientists in Taiwan report, "To test the hypothesis that plasma visfatin concentrations will be lower in women with gestational diabetes mellitus, we evaluated women with gestational diabetes mellitus and healthy pregnant women, and then correlated their plasma visfatin concentrations with body mass index (BMI) and various other parameters."
