Reports from the United States, Turkey and Brazil highlight recent research in polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Study 1: Metformin may lower coronary risk in hyperinsulinemic women with polycystic ovary syndrome.

"Patients with polycystic ovary syndrome frequently suffer from hyperinsulinemia and adverse lipid profile. This study evaluated effects of metformin on lipid profile," reported scientists at Poznan University.
