Diabetes research advances have been reported from University of Cincinnati, U.S. Study 1: New investigation results, "Gastric bypass for morbidly obese patients with established cardiac disease," are detailed in a study published in Obesity Surgery. "Bariatric surgery has often been avoided in patients with known cardiac disease because of the risks inherent in this patient population.
