New obesity study findings have been reported by researchers at University of Sao Paulo

Scientists discuss in "LEP 3'HVR is associated with obesity and leptin levels in Brazilian individuals" new findings in obesity. "Leptin plays an important role in satiety signaling and is related to obesity. Variants of leptin gene (LEP) have been associated to differences in plasma leptin levels and obesity-related phenotypes," scientists in Sao Paulo, Brazil report.
