Findings from University of Kentucky, U.S., provide new insights into diabetes.

Study 1: Data detailed in "SIRT1 regulates adiponectin gene expression through Foxo1-C/enhancer-binding protein alpha transcriptional complex" have been presented. According to recent research from the United States, "Adiponectin is an adipose-derived hormone that plays an important role in maintaining energy homeostasis. Adiponectin gene expression is diminished in both obesity and type 2 diabetes."
