Research from Istanbul University reveals new findings on obesity and diabetes genetics

Researchers detail in "Association between mild renal dysfunction and insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome in a random nondiabetic population sample," new data in obesity and diabetes. According to recent research from Istanbul, Turkey, "The association of mild renal dysfunction (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] 60-89.9 ml/min/1.73 m2) with insulin resistance (IR) or metabolic syndrome (MS) needs be investigated in a population in which MS prevails.
