Quigley Begins Human Trial to Investigate Effects of Broad Spectrum Anti-Inflammatory Compound on Metabolic Syndrome Patients

Quigley Pharma, www.QuigleyPharma.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Quigley Corporation (NASDAQ:QGLY) announced that based on positive preclinical animal data and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval it has initiated a human clinical safety trial designed to evaluate the effects of QR-449 on subjects with Metabolic Syndrome. People suffering from Metabolic Syndrome are vulnerable to the most dangerous heart attack risk factors; diabetes, abdominal obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
