Research from Center for Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases provides new data about obesity and diabetes

Scientists discuss in "Retinol-binding protein 4 levels are elevated in polycystic ovary syndrome women with obesity and impaired glucose metabolism" new findings in obesity and diabetes. According to a study from Bochum, Germany, "Insulin resistance and obesity are common features of the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4), a new fat-derived adipokine, has been described to be elevated in obesity and type 2 diabetes."
