Researchers from Nagoya University, Department of Cardiology publish new studies and findings in the area of stem cell research

New research, 'Adiponectin promotes endothelial progenitor cell number and function,' is the subject of a report. According to recent research published in the journal FEBS Letters, "Obesity-linked diseases are associated with suppressed endothelial progenitor cell (EPC) function. Adiponectin is an adipose-derived protein that is downregulated in obese and diabetic subjects."
