New cardiovascular risk study findings have been reported by researchers at University of Regensburg

New research, 'Common polymorphisms in the cannabinoid CB2 receptor gene (CNR2) are not associated with myocardial infarction and cardiovascular risk factors,' is the subject of a report. "Myocardial infarction (MI) is a complex disease. Multiple genes and their interaction with various environmental factors influence the pathogenesis of MI that is thought to be tightly regulated by inflammatory pathways," scientists in Regensburg, Germany report.
