New findings from Louisiana State University in the area of life sciences described

According to recent research from the United States, "Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPAR gamma) is a transcription factor that plays an important role in adipocyte gene expression. Previous studies from our laboratory and others have shown that PPAR gamma can be ubiquitin modified and targeted to the proteasome for degradation in response to transcriptional activation."
