Studies from Copenhagen University reveal new findings on obesity

According to a study from Glostrup, Denmark, "Low-grade chronic inflammation has been proposed to play a major role in the pathogenesis of hypertension. Low-grade chronic inflammation is also closely associated with obesity, an established causative factor in the development of hypertension."
