Current study results from the report, 'Functional limitations, socioeconomic status, and all-cause mortality in moderate alcohol drinkers,' have been published. In this recent article published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To determine whether the survival benefit associated with moderate alcohol use remains after accounting for nontraditional risk factors such as socioeconomic status (SES) and functional limitations.
