"The aim of this study was to assess retrospectively the results of laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) performed in obese patients at our institution with the traditional technique and with the fundus-first (FF) technique. We performed a retrospective analysis of 194 obese patients that underwent LC between 1994 and December 2007 at our institution," scientists writing in the Journal of Laparoendoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques report.
