Current study results from the report, 'Cannabinoid type 1 receptor blockade induces transdifferentiation towards a brown fat phenotype in white adipocytes,' have been published. According to a study from Germany, "The endocannabinoid (EC) system is a major component in the control of energy homeostasis. It mediates a positive energy balance via central and peripheral pathways."
