Research results from Chiba University, Department of Urology update understanding of prostate cancer

Investigators publish new data in the report 'Implications of body mass index in Japanese patients with prostate cancer who had undergone radical prostatectomy.' According to a study from Chiba, Japan, "To determine the association between obesity and prostate cancer in Japanese recurrence after primary treatment with radical prostatectomy. The subjects were 173 Japanese patients with prostate cancer who had been treated with radical prostatectomy at Chiba University Hospital between April 1997 and March 2007."
