New fatty liver disease study results reported from University of Stellenbosch

"Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most prevalent chronic liver disease in Western countries, but the disease profile has not yet been described in South Africa. NAFLD affects all spheres of society, especially the poorest and least educated," scientists in South Africa report.
