2011 FEB 14 -- Researchers detail in 'Effect of glucose and insulin on oxidized low-density lipoprotein phagocytosis by human monocytes: a pilot study,' new data in Proinsulin. "We assessed the effect of glucose and insulin on human monocytes. Monocytes were isolated from 16 healthy obese and 10 lean healthy participants," researchers in Thessaloniki, Greece report.
