Findings from University of Bialystok Provide New Insights into Diabetes

2012 FEB 6 -- Fresh data on Diabetes are presented in the report "Ceramide metabolism is affected by obesity and diabetes in human adipose tissue." According to the authors of recent research from Bialystok, Poland, "Ceramide is involved in development of insulin resistance. However, there are no data on ceramide metabolism in human adipose tissue."
