Cognia introduces proprietary ubiquitin database at drug discovery conference

Cognia Corp., a pioneer in developing and aggregating biological information, unveiled its first proprietary database, Cognia Catabolism, covering key regulatory proteins of the ubiquitin system at the "Ubiquitin in Drug Discovery and Development" Conference in June.

The database, named Cognia Catabolism because of the ubiquitin system's role in breaking down (catabolizing) cellular proteins, will contain expertly curated information found in the scientific literature to provide a comprehensive structured information resource on ubiquitin system molecules, their attributes and interactions.
