Reports summarize life sciences study results from Banaras Hindu University

New research, 'Queuine mediated inhibition in phosphorylation of tyrosine phosphoproteins in cancer,' is the subject of a report. "Protein phosphorylation or dephosphorylation is the most important regulatory switch of signal transduction contributing to control of cell proliferation. The reversibility of phosphorylation and dephosphorylation is due to the activities of kinases and phosphatase, which determine protein phosphorylation level of cell under different physiological and pathological conditions," scientists writing in the journal Molecular Biology Reports report.
