Human Chromaffin Cell Grafts May Provide Relief When Opioids Fail

Adrenal medullary allografts may provide relief for patients suffering from chronic, intractable cancer pain when opioids are no longer effective or feasible, researchers writing in Pain report. "A number of pre-clinical studies have demonstrated the value of adrenal medullary allografts in the management of chronic pain," explained Y.
