New alzheimer disease study findings reported from University of British Columbia
Published in Pain and Central Nervous System Week, January 15th, 2007
Current study results from the report, "Increase in core body temperature of Alzheimer's disease patients as a possible indicator of chronic neuroinflammation: a meta-analysis," have been published. According to recent research from Vancouver, Canada, "Neuroinflammation contributes to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Increased pro-inflammatory cytokine levels have been reported in the brain and cerebro-spinal fluid of individuals affected by this neurodegenerative disorder."
