New arthritis in children study findings reported from University Children's Hospital

Researchers detail in "Growth hormone increases final height in patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis: data from a randomized controlled study," new data in arthritis. According to recent research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, "GH treatment stimulates growth in short children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). The extent to which this therapy increases final height is not known."
