Researchers from University of Buenos Aires publish new studies and findings in the area of dementia

A report, 'Possible therapeutic value of melatonin in mild cognitive impairment: a retrospective study,' is newly published data in Journal of Pineal Research. According to recent research published in the Journal of Pineal Research, "Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an etiologically heterogeneous syndrome characterized by cognitive impairment preceding dementia. Approximately 12% of MCI patients convert to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or other dementia disorders every year."
