Alkermes, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALKS) announced that Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.L.C. (J&JPRD) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the use of RISPERDAL® CONSTA® (risperidone) Long-Acting Injection as both a monotherapy and adjunctive therapy to lithium or valproate in the maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder.
